Hi! It’s so nice that you are here 🙂
I am Franziska originally from the Black Forest, Germany. I moved to Scotland after falling in love with the country and the people. I was living in Edinburgh for many years when I moved down into the Scottish Borders near Peebles.
From a young age I wrote little theatre pieces for my friends to act out, sang songs whenever I could and also wrote stories and murder mysteries. When I started working as a tour guide, I finally realised my potential and joined the storytelling apprenticeship scheme with the Scottish Storytelling Forum. Last year I finally finished my long years apprenticeship and joined the Storytelling Directory.
By becoming a recognised storyteller, I have fulfilled my lifelong dream.
Before I discovered my storytelling & tour guiding path I worked as an Event Manager in Germany, as a Hotel Receptionist in Edinburgh, in B2B local sales for the tourism industry and as a Social and Leisure Assistant in a Care Home.
And because I felt I wasn’t busy enough, I also gained my CIPD Learning and Development Level 5 Diploma at Edinburgh College. Which gave me the convenience and knowledge to prepare, demonstrate and hold workshop in various settings.
